The Situation

William Davis Homes have been building houses for over 85 years and are one of the UKs biggest housebuilders. They embody everything the modern housebuilder needs, vast experience in building quality new homes but an appetite to evolve with the requirements of the modern buyer.

Only a 5 min drive from Chesterfield, Skylarks is a development nestled in the Derbyshire countryside. William Davis wanted to invest in a virtual toolkit that drives engagement from their increasingly digitally-savvy customer base.

Key aims of the Skylarks project:

  • Open the door for earlier off-plan listing sales.
  • Offer their clients a way to explore and comprehend William Davis properties online.
  • Create a fully immersive & interactive digital twin of the proposed development, including all different types of homes.
  • Provide the sales team with a set of virtual marketing tools that have been optimised for usage on the website and sales centre.

The Solution

For their website and sales centre, EyeSiteView created an immersive and interactive digital visualisation bundle using a full-scale CGI replica of the Skylarks development. This unlocked off-plan engagement and buyer interest all before the full development had been constructed.

Active Site Plans

The Active Siteplan is one of the housebuilders most powerful tools, it brings together all the data and virtual tours of a development into one central interactive site plan.

Customers browsed available homes and real-time pricing by logging onto the Skylarks active site plan from their home (on their PC, tablet, or smartphone). 

Before having a closer look with a Virtual Tour, Skylarks buyers can quickly filter the site plan by pricing, bedroom count, availability, and more using configurable filters.

360 Virtual Tours & Virtual Showhomes

Every housetype and plot on the Skylarks development was built into a totally immersive virtual tour, using photo-realistic CGI.

The ‘Hero images’ are great at helping customers gain an accurate and visual understanding of the development down at street level. The static images have been utilised on the William Davis website, development billboards, printed brochures and social media.
